This Privacy Policy describes how Magic AI LLC ("Magic AI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Magicbag (magicbag.app), our Amazon Attribution and creator commerce platform ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. WHO WE ARE
Magic AI LLC operates Magicbag, a platform that integrates with the Amazon Ads API (Attribution) to help Amazon sellers track creator-driven conversions and manage affiliate commissions. Contact us at support@magicbag.app.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, Discord handle, and authentication credentials when you create an account via Clerk.
- Amazon Seller / Advertiser Data: When an Amazon seller connects their account via OAuth, we receive and store Amazon Attribution data including advertiser IDs, campaign IDs, attributed clicks, attributed orders, and revenue figures as provided by the Amazon Ads API. We do not receive or store payment card information from Amazon.
- Creator / Affiliate Data: Tracking link performance metrics (clicks, attributed purchases, commissions earned) associated with each creator account.
- Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages viewed, and other usage analytics collected automatically when you interact with the Service.
- Communications: Any messages you send us via email or support channels.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To display Amazon Attribution analytics (clicks, conversions, revenue) to authorized seller accounts.
- To calculate and display commission earnings to creator / affiliate accounts.
- To authenticate users and maintain account security.
- To send transactional emails related to your account and campaigns.
- To comply with legal obligations and Amazon Developer Agreement requirements.
4. AMAZON DATA USAGE
Magicbag accesses Amazon Ads API data solely to provide the Service features described above. We do not sell, license, or share Amazon-sourced data with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g., our hosting provider). Amazon Attribution data is used only in connection with the seller account that authorized access. We comply with the Amazon Ads API Developer Agreement and applicable Amazon policies.
5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Hosting (Vercel), database (Neon/PostgreSQL), authentication (Clerk), and other vendors who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Within the Platform: Amazon sellers can see aggregate attribution and commission data for creators assigned to their brand campaigns. Creators can see only their own link and earnings data.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain your account information and attribution data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@magicbag.app.
7. SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@magicbag.app.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy here and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
